In a great location on the main strip downtown in Amarillo. Close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Beautiful lovingly renovated historic skyscraper with fantastic views. Easy parking (paid). Nice, happy, helpful staff. The room was large, well appointed, and comfortable.
- 5/5
Nice location. Everything was nicely maintained. That said, you still have to pay to park each day and there’s no pool. Didn’t try the restaurant.

Discovered water leaking from the overhead shower light.

Passable

Room was dirty and noisy. (Some kind of compressor or motor sound constantly humming from the bathroom walls) Pillows and bedding leave a lot to be desired. Staff was friendly enough but it's tough sledding if you're looking for a nice place to stay in Amarillo.

Temperature was 80 degrees when I checked into the room and the A/C brought the temperature down to about 78.

Jessica was great!

We reserved 2 rooms. The AC in the 1st room went out and they were able to accommodate and swap rooms. In the other room the AC felt like a swamp cooler (humid). The AC also blew straight onto the bed full force all night but it was never actually cool.

Once we were inside the hotel, everything was 1st class. The bed was comfortable. The room layout was perfect, very spacious. The decor was beautiful. We arrived around midnight on 7/19. The young girl who checked us in had no idea that we needed a code to get into the parking garage. She told us to park in the small parking lot where deliveries are made. There were alot of weird people walking around. My family and I felt unsafe. I walked to the parking garage "entry box" which had a note stating that we needed a code in order for us enter. I was very disappointed the young girl who checked us in didn't know anything about it. I had to walk back into the hotel to tell her I needed a code, which she gave me. I was then able to enter the parking garage where I felt safe.

Love, love this hotel. It was perfect. We always stay here when we come to amarillo for our JW convention every year.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly and the location was great
- 5/5
Room was very clean. We didn't run into any problems at all. We didn't have opportunity to have a breakfast since we left very early. Property has on site parking, paid, $15 per night. For the price of the room you pay it could be complimentary.
- 5/5
We really liked the size of our room and of course that it was clean! The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk around to find food and it was easy access to the highways. There was also a parking garage that was so great since it was summer time in Texas.

Was not told there was a breakfast. The location was fine The ac didn't work the first day but staff brought fans. Took them to the wrong room until I finally called again 2 hours later. Then we got them. Was fixed the second day. The WiFi didn't work so they had us call tech support but that didn't help. We even paid for the better internet which never worked. The Hotspot on our phones was better. Not the best experience by far.

Everything was excellent, great view, lovely staff, great nearby restaurant. The no daily cleaning was a little confusing, I suppose they don’t enter your unit if you’re not in the room.

Right in the heart of downtown Amarillo with lots of awesome dining, a cool old building with character, and clean facilities with excellent staff makes this place a 10/10 in my book. We stay here regularly and I recommend it to anyone passing thru
- 5/5
Great property and location. Always our go to in Amarillo. Always felt safe and welcomed. I haven’t had a bad experience at this property. I Highly recommend this and many other Marriott properties.

Parking was a little difficult when you do not follow directions. But we did get checked in and found a beautiful queen room with 2 beds as requested. Many restaurants across the street for what ever pallet desires.

- 5/5
We got in late and David was amazing!
- 5/5
The breakfast was
- 5/5
The best stay of our trip so far. That comment is entirely down to the staff we encountered. David on front desk, Lucie in the bar at night and Michelle at breakfast. Thay aren’t all the team but it is clear that the management in this establishment encourage teamwork and customer care to a high degree. Without doubt, the happiest, most co-ordinated, customer friendly group we’ve met on what is a long, multiple stop, hotel based trip. We’d come back just for the friendliness!

Nice property in a good downtown location. Parking was convenient. A little outdoor space would have made it 5 stars

Great
- 3/5
Guy at the front desk was very nice but he was all alone at the busiest check in time - he had a long line. It took a long time to get checked in. Don’t know why the hotel would pick peak check in time to only have one person on the desk. Nice hotel otherwise, very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
We ate dinner in the bistro & not was it good. Kelly made a great espresso martini, Cobb salad & BLT! Supper yummy! Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Great stop!
- 5/5
nice people, nice place
- 4/5
Stayed here many times as it is half way between my house in Dallas and house in Colorado. Always a good stay and several good places to eat that are walkable (less than 2 blocks).
- 3/5
stay was fine, but paying for breakfast and then having to leave - without breakfast due to time - because the service counter was understaffed was frustrating and disappointing.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
The hotel itself was very nice, very clean. Staff was friendly and the rooms were in great shape. My only complaint is the parking, parking was an extremely small and cramped parking garage that you had to pay to use. Then once inside there is only one access to the hotel from the parking, which is at the very bottom, but there are no signs indicating that so if you find a good parking place on the top, you then have to take all of your luggage and everything down all the flights of stairs until you find the access to the hotel.

Room was very clean

It is very clean nice and the staff is great

Hotel lobby staff is very courteous and friendly. Convenient Bistro for dining and breakfast, with a Starbucks.
- 5/5
Very comfortable rooms!

We had a fabulous time at this hotel. The staff was unbelievable! The Starbucks in the hotel was kind of weak. But it didn't diminish our fun time.
- 5/5
Exceptional staff - superior furnishings.

Bad
- 4/5
Overall, a good place to stay. We came for a concert at the Civic Center, and it was a short walk. The downtown was clean and felt very safe, we had no concern walking back to the hotel at midnight. My only complaint was the lack of complementary coffee, which now seems a given at most hotels. Instead, Courtyard wants you to pay at their Starbucks which I won't do.
- 5/5
Great facility.
- 5/5
Super easy quick check in and very friendly staff cant wait to return
- 3/5
Good location but check in was confusing. We booked a rate that included parking and breakfast but the Front Desk had no record of the info. When we went to breakfast the next morning the cafe also didn’t have the info. Also breakfast took a while to prepare even though we were the only ones at the cafe. We have stayed at this hotel for several years and like the location/historic building but there were gaps in service with our recent stay.
- 5/5
It was very nice
- 5/5
It was amazing! All the staff have been awesome, friendly and really made us feel welcome. They are so helpful.
- 5/5
Check in was quick and staff were friendly.

Lot of history with the hotel and spacious room
- 5/5
Best hotel room of the 4 I stayed in for this trip.
- 5/5
Great hotel in excellent location
- 5/5
Perfect place!
- 4/5
Great location in downtown Amarillo. Hotel is in a beautifully renovated historic building. Limited hours and selection for bistro and bar. Hot water takes a while to get hot. Early morning wake up from loud shaky pipes or elevator... couldn't figure it out.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and check in was quick. Our room was spacious and clean. We plan on staying here again.

We stayed in a room without hot water. After our second complaint, they offered to move us, but it was later in the evening and we declined. The hotel would not discount or comp the room for the trouble.
- 5/5
Rooms were great, nice and clean ! And staff was so helpful and just nice!
