Staff was disappointing

Fantastic hotel!! HUGE (regular) room - safe/microwave/coffee maker/large refrig with freezer!!! Staff professional & helpful!!! Minor toilet problem but addressed immediately! GREAT hitel!!

A quick stay but the room was clean and well kept, staff was friendly and the property was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was remarkably good as well. Overall a solid value!

Very nice hotel

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was charged twice for one of the two rooms I booked. According to the front desk staff, that often happens when using a third party. They will pay for one if the rooms, but not the other- and it will take a while to go through. She told me that I’d have to take that up with the third party (booking.com)but that I wouldn’t be allowed into the second room until it was paid. It was late in the evening and we were traveling with a baby. Rather than be helpful, the staff member left the desk and spent her time visiting with a friend rather than helping the growing line. Ultimately I just paid up front for the second room and ended up paying it again when booking.com withdrew my money.

The location was in a nice area. The pull out bed had what looked like poop stains all over ,when I called front desk on the first day they said they’d clean it and by our last day nothing was done about the bed. The cable would not work, the lady’s would come and “fix it”and within 2 minutes it would cut out again.

The television had 1 station.

The location was great and the curb appeal was nice The shower was cracked along the sides. There was no shampoo. The built-in shampoo holder was empty. There were hair in the sink and on one of the towels and the room smelled musty.

The biggest downside was the pool. The bottom had large chunks missing, making it look like it had been dug or shoveled out, which wasn’t very appealing. I was also disappointed that housekeeping never came to clean my room during my two-night stay. Overall, I wouldn’t rate it a 10/10, but I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Very helpful with a late check in. Room was clean and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Air wasn't working but we had a beautiful fan over the bed to keep us cool for our very short stay. Front desk took care of the air conditioner issue immediately upon my reporting it. Very very nice place to stay.

The room was HUGE, clean, and felt like home! it even had a ceiling fan! 10/10

The room was missing the basic things that you would find in most rooms. There were no little shampoo or conditioner. There was no soap. They were missing a towel for outside the tub and the towels were scratchy. I was so tired from my trip that I couldn’t deal with even talking to them about it and getting them to fix it. But these are basic things that they should have in place. It was a sloppy turn over.

Unhelpful staff, no one to be found to check in, room was damaged. Broken glass beer bottles all throughout the parking lot. If it had not just been myself and been super late- would not have stayed here.

Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. I thought my room was way overpriced, the fridge didn't work and there was a mud dauber nest on the curtains. My room also had the odor of cigarette smoke even though it's a smoke free facility

Pool and hot tub were amazing and clean We found a vap in our room with checking in and my kids were playing with it. Made us think of the room was cleaned right!

Location and price The room emitted an unpleasant odor, likely due to animal urine, despite the hotel’s provision of air fresheners. Unfortunately, the odor persisted.

We arrived very late from driving all day with another day ahead and when we checked in staff was nice. However when we went to our room we found three cockroaches throughout the room which we took care of ourselves. The staff switched us to another “clean”room which had a different smell and we proceeded to find someone’s earbuds and food trash next to the bed side table. The sheets looked clean though. By this time at 2 am, we had to lay our heads and get ready for the next travel day. Needless to say we didn’t want to wake up or even trust the provided breakfast in the morning.

We arrived past 10pm and left by 6:30am the next day. Can’t say we really experienced all this place has to offer. The room was great! Small kitchenette—clean and the staff was lovely. The lobby had infused water which is nice especially after a long drive. We couldn’t the TV to work. We’re pretty tech savvy but could not figure this one out. The walls must be a little thin because we could hear the person next door us snoring. The continental breakfast was 10/10 (plain and blueberry waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, toast, etc) and the lady running it was so nice, she let us access it about 5-7 min sooner than 6am. Overall, we’d stay here again!

Not the best stay. The TV only worked about half the time, and the shower head sprayed water everywhere, which made the bathroom difficult to use. On top of that, I was charged a fee for my service animal, which was frustrating and disappointing. I expected better for the price I paid. Overall, the room had maintenance issues and the service did not meet expectations.

Our room was a little dark and 2 of the lamps didn’t work because of burned out bulbs. A simple fix.

Sofá bed falling apart also on the side of the bed some metal parts sticking out making it dangerous to walk and on top of it some sticky pads for little critters

Great room size for family of 5 having two queen beds and sofa bed. Clean place and everything working fine. I’ll definitely will consider this place for next time.

Room is smell weird. Microwave inside the room is dirty and smell. The sink hot water doesn’t work. And when we got to the property the lady in front desk insisting to charged us $46 for the pet fee eventho I showed her that in Expedia it’s showed $40 and we also confirmed this by calling the hotel before making the reservation. She say she can’t go lower than $46. Won’t stay there again upon our next visit.

We have also stayed at the Amarillo West location which is in need of reno. Right now, Amarillo East is the preferred location.

You call those things pillows you put on the beds?.... Please put standard size pillows on the beds.

Staff is nice, but unfortunately the place needs work. Some things that need to be addressed and replaced had not. And it was very dirty. Very disappointed.

When housekeeping came by, they took the 4 dirty towels, said they could only leave 2 clean ones, and i would need to ask for more towels from the front desk. If they are taking 4, why can they only leave 2? For a family of 6?!? Then she said that i would have to ask the front desk for conditioner as well. Mind you, the shampoo and conditioner are mounted in the shower. What would i do if they gave me the bottle?!? No worries, the front desk said they couldn't give me conditioner as you need a special kep to replace the bottle and only the head housekeeping person has it. 4 days, never got the conditioner or additional towels. On our first day there were signs up saying the hot tub was out of order, but the pool wad open. On day 2 I saw steam rising from the hot tub, so i asked the front desk if it was still out of order... it was fixed, they just forgot to remove the signs. When you check in they give you a little yellow paper with your key saying they hope you give them a 10 if you get a survey request. I had hoped to get basic services during my stay. To end on a good note, Carmen, the breakfast attendant, was super nice ans helpful. She kept the food fresh and the area clean.

Very friendly staff and room was nice and clean. It was completely satisfactory for a quick stop on the way home. Minor things: facilities were a little outdated, and the hot tub was out of order. Pillows consisted of six small throw-sized pillows on the king sized bed. However, I was very grateful for getting a room last min that was under $200/night with such welcoming staff.

Minimal time spent in room. Room was very spacious. Out-dated furnishings. Room cleanliness was moderate. Remnants from a birthday party 2 months ago. Bathroom fan broken. Questionable cockroach droppings in drawers and cupboards. Beds were comfy. Staff was friendly. Check-in and out was easy. Easy freeway access.

The Comfort Inn was excellent. Room was very nice, well decorated, clean and very comfortable. It was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

We booked the room and stayed with Comfort Inn under the assumption that the jacuzzi tub was im working order. This was for.our anniversary.

Seemed like the food was fresh, but couldn't eat it. Staff was friendly. Easy check in. After the drunk person in the next room quit yelling and swearing, it was quiet. Internet was a little slow (had to work), but i would stay again.

Beds were super comfy and the hotel was dog friendly but you wouldn't have known other people had dogs. It was very nice. We will stay again!

staff is very courteous, very supportive. The bar opened at six and stayed opened until midnight which was New Year’s Eve. Perfect!

Really like the breakfast they had waffles, eggs, potato’s, cereal, juice, coffee, milk and yogurt. Perfect for a family of 6. Parking was well lite and clean. Fitness room wasn’t that great only 2 machines worked cont really do much of my workout. Over great for the family.

We have stayed here multiple times and this was the first time we were slightly disappointed. We were put in the handicap accessible room (not really a big thing but just not standard). The beds were very strange and wobbly and bouncy. The head seemed lower than the foot of the bed. The shower would not drain. In the past this hotel has been on point for just a simple overnight stop. I reported everything to the front desk. Hopefully this was just a one off.

• Trash was still in the trash can when I arrived, suggesting the room wasn’t properly cleaned. • Upon check-in, the front desk required a $100 cash deposit solely because my driver’s license showed a local address. This policy was never mentioned on Hotels.com during booking. I would not have booked this property had I known about this cash deposit policy or the condition of the room. The only redeemable part of my stay was the wonderful woman working the breakfast area, who was kind, attentive, and clearly cared about the guests—she was the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

I was impressed with my room. Clean and spacious. The room had a safe, bar area, couch area, desk and bench. Really liked the room. The pool area was neat and clean and the hot tub worked well. The location was very convenient to find and get to. Plenty of places to shop and eat close by on I40. Less than 30 minutes from Palo Duro State Park. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend this Comfort Inn for single or family stay.

good service at bar, bad service at front counter. check in was a nightmare. they booked me in a room that was already taken. went to try and get in the door and heard a voice your in the wrong room! we finally got a room. had to wait a while when we first walked in for a rep to show up. 10/3/25 pm. breakfast, hot tub and pool were all very nice. wish the hot tub would go for more than 5 mins but had to keep getting out to use the timer.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. When you walked off the elevator on the second floor a strong odor of dog urine hit you. There was also no mention of an addition fee for your dog.

Noisy ac and damaged bath tub

The room was much bigger than expected. The bedding was nice and being on the first floor it was quiet.

Bed was so uncomfortable and pillows lumpy and like sleeping on rocks.

We chose this property due to needing parking for a 30ft trailer. The hotel was quiet, beds were great, breakfast was nice. Room did have a little dust and the carpet probably needed a good shampoo, but otherwise bed and bathroom were clean.

All lights in the lobby area were turned off upon a 3pm arrival and it was dark. The so called bar was stacked full of boxes like a storage room. Rust and mold in bathroom. Hallways needed lots of repair. Not sure how they were rated above 8. More like a 7. Very disappointed.

Poor planning lead to An arrival around 3am. The staff was so kind toward the very late check in!

The beds were AWFUL. I picked Comfort Inn bc the beds are usually great. Never will I go back. The shower had an opened partially used bar of soap on it. The fridge smelled like rotten fish. My kids called this the Possum Playground bc they said it stinks like a possum.
