Best Western Santa Fe

We travel a lot and so far this was by far the best. NEVER trust Expedia going by pictures they never update any pictures or annuity.

Only other comment I have is that the handicap parking was not very accessible. No adjacent access aisle (the diagonal stripes). The 2 spaces adjacent to the ramp, still without extra spaces, were blocked off for rewards members only. These spaces had to be navigated around to access the ramp for entry.

I was only in there 12 hours because I had to catch a flight. Great location to airport.

Check in and out was easy. The hotel is one of the cleanest ive ever stayed in. The breakfast was good. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again if the occasion arises.

I loked that the hotel was right off the interstate. What I didn't like was there were some funky smells in certain areas of the hotel. After a long day I like to unwind by watching some TV, but the hotels TV service is terrible.

Dog had lots of room Sheets had stains on them. Looked like blood

Was right off main road, nice outdoor pool although the filter should have been running there was a lot of stuff floating but we skimmed it off and the kids had a great time. Breakfast was actually not bad for a free hotel breakfast as well perfect for an overnight stay.

Love this hotel for convenience in between Dallas and Colorado. Very clean nice beds linens towels etc. people are very nice. Just across from Big Texan.

Overall excellent. However, it's close to I-40, and the traffic can be noisy.

The hotel as a whole is run down. The mattress needs to be replaced. It’s worn out and slopes to the middle. We topically stay a BW when we travel and this one was up to par.

Beautiful, clean room - seems to have been recently refurbished. Great shower. Breakfast was quite good and varied. Staff was nice. Overall, an excellent experience. The coffee was pretty average.

Superb

They we able to provide a mobile shower seat, but it was not adjustable (only 12in height) and my husband is 5'11 and has to remove a leg prosthetic to shower. Otherwise, everything was comfortable and relaxing.

The property itself was well maintained but the properties surrounding it was a dumping ground! Terrible!

It was perfect for one night. Even had a lot in the back for us to park our U-Haul which was convenient. It could have been a little cleaner, towels and bedding wise.

I normally stay at another chain and Have not stayed at best western in years and basically needed a place to sleep after getting off the road for 11 hrs. although the room was clean, the main thing: bedding/mattress was not comfortable and below my expectations. I got no sleep. Tried to call the desk and the phone did not work, the staff did come to our room because she could not hear us and bring us hand soap that was empty at the sink. Took us a while to figure out tv (2 remotes) Breakfast was fine as we quickly got on the road. And coffee not bad. I probably will return to my other hotel chain at this destination traveling thru in the future. Great location though with many restaurants and hotel on i40 and a buc ees nearby.

Decent place to spend night while making an overnight stop over. Rooms all updated. Interior renovation not long ago however the outside is a little crummy. Located in more of an industrial side of town but good restaurants close by and Buc-ees few miles away. Rate was very affordable. Would stay here again if just passing through.

Staff very friendly

Staff was helpful and got us a room with two queen beds on the first floor for our second night. We still had to move our stuff back to our car until the 3:00 PM check back in. Breakfast staff very friendly & helpful and food was good, especially the fresh biscuits.

Evidently the carpet had just been cleaned and was still wet. Two remotes for TV made it hard to use. Breakfast was cold. They have some work to do.

Everything was fine. The breakfast was okay. It is not a restaurant. However, they did have scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. Better than a bagel and a banana. The room was clean. The back door to the building would not lock, but they said it was scheduled for repair.

This property is clean, convenient and accessible. It could, however, use some updating. It just felt like it needed a facelift. It was fine for a one night stay.

"Handicap spaces" ... there was only 1 near the front door to be able to check in. The staff told me there were 4 more on the back of the building. I ended up parking in a standard spot near my entrance. It was a decent hotel and worth what I paid for a night.

When we arrived we had a room with a conjoined door. As soon as we began to settle in a man began shouting at his wife in the next room. When we went to the front desk to see if we could change rooms we were told they were booked up. It seemed like a remodeled property.

Room was spacious and clean. We were in the back of the hotel and could not hear any noise from the highway. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really great with lots of variety to choose from. Nice surprise was fresh made cookies offered at check in.

Room was big and clean and the beds were comfortable. Just stayed one night while we were passing through. It was right off the highway so convenient. Excellent breakfast options. This was the first time in decades I've seen a hotel have bacon for breakfast. I was surprised.

Easy, friendly check-in process with perfect dinner recommendation after long travel day. Spotless, spacious room, comfortable bed. We were most impressed with the continental breakfast including homemade muffins, as well as scrambled eggs, fruit, and a variety of other items. The quality of items, especially those homemade muffins, would bring us back.

The lady at the front desk greeted us with a genuine welcoming smile. We knew we picked the right place when we walked into the lobby.

No automatic doors meant it was hard to get luggage in and out on a luggage cart. It was hard to get into the parking lot from the freeway. The oncoming traffic does not yield, but that isn’t the fault of the hotel. The mattresses were harder than other hotels I’ve stayed at, but the pillows were great, and they were large. The room was clean but there was a bit of a smell. I couldn’t tell if it was musty or if somebody had been smoking in the building. The room did not smell, just the hallways. The hot breakfast was outstanding! There were options for everybody. It was all fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The eggs were real, the biscuits were huge, and there were a ton of options even though the dining area is deceptively small. The attendant was really on top of refilling everything and cleaning up. We will probably stay here again just for the breakfast quality.

Everything was great! NO ELEVATOR for 2nd floor! Check in was great. Checkout time is 11 & house cleaning literally opened our door at 9 & again at 10 when i finally said checkout time is 11 that’s when you can come clean!
