Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen

Property was clean but when I checked in on Friday night there was only 1 person on staff at the front desk.

I had good staff was very friendly and helpful

What can they improve ? Complimentary water in the room and to residents. Dallas is super hot in summer and water costs very little. Marriot does this for me

Great staff and very clean. Didn’t care for the room design. Unfortunately there was a power outage in the city and we had no electricity for quite awhile. Got very hot and had to feel our way to the bathroom but it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. I did think the room was overpriced

The housekeeping happens only every 5 days and they leave the room dirty and unclean . The gym was good enough and 24x7. Reception is not helpful and needs to be trained or replaced

The breakfast was average and didn't live up to our expectations. The front desk staff was not very helpful or accommodating. When I explained that our room had not been serviced, there was no apology and no effort to send someone to clean it. We stayed for four days, and not once did housekeeping come to make the beds, empty the trash, replenish supplies, or check on our room. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told that rooms are not serviced until the third day. By then, it was already our third day, yet no one ever came. I had to go downstairs myself to get clean towels, and my family even had to take our own trash to the nearest trash can because it was never picked up. The hotel felt safe, but we experienced loud stomping from the room above us during the night. I reported it to the front desk, but there was no apology or follow-up. When you're traveling with your family and young children, it's a relief to come back to a clean room with the beds made, fresh towels, and the trash taken out. That simple level of service was completely missing during our stay. What was most disappointing is that this experience did not reflect the Hyatt brand or the level of hospitality we expected. Good stay. Everything was good (room, service, breakfast, parking and very convenient location by the highway).

The pool not in the best condition. The breakfast was not very good, the bacon after it was cooked it was served in a skillet in the grease. I have never stayed in a hotel that did that, even hotels that are considered not as good.

The swimming pool was under repair. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff was very friendly.

Not a comfortable place to stay. The lobby area looks newly renovated, but the rooms are dated and the air conditioning barely works. I had to switch rooms due to how hot and stuffy mine was, and the second room wasn't much better. Thermostat adjustments do nothing, and you it feels even worse during summer in Texas.

Other than the pool being closed, everything was wonderful.

The pool was not available due to other guest damaging it. So I paid the price so my girls won't using it. They should have credit my bill since the pool was closed, Everything else was good.

Waking up to a foul odor coming from the restroom. It started slowly but continued to the point that we had to check out asap in order to breathe, no joke. We let the front desk know on our way out, disappointing stay

We had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen in Allen, Texas. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between modern comfort and convenience, with spacious, spotless rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home (Amanda). The complimentary breakfast was fresh and generous, the outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center were great bonuses, and the location made it incredibly easy to reach shopping, dining (Roma Cuchina), and nearby attractions (Twin Creeks Golf). If you’re looking for a clean, stylish, and reliable place to stay in Allen, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Very good hotel in all aspects. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. Spacious free parking. The free breakfast was not that great. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

This was our first stay at Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen and we loved it. The facilities were clean and modern, the staff was very friendly and nice, the room was immaculate and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was yummy.

There was a domestic dispute in adjacent rooms. There was loud music, screaming, and fighting. The families had toddlers with them and they were screaming scared, and quite frankly so was I. I called the front desk at 3 in the morning to report the incident but did not receive an answer. I called 911. The police arrived promptly. Horrible experience.

Very nice place

The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was spacious. Overall very quiet. We weren’t able to grab breakfast in the morning because we had hit the road but the bacon smelled so good. Breakfast is at 6:30am

Very modern and clean. Amenitie were fine. My problem is that i was there 4 nights. My room was never serviced; i.e. trash never emptied, coffee replinished, towels changed, etc. Phone in room not connected to call front desk. Small things but made a big difference in my stay.

Bed was very uncomfortable the room is heavily outdated bathroom needs remodeled. Breakfast was mediocre definitely not worth the price they charge per night

Coffee was weak (light brown water), when I pointed it out I was met with combative remarks. Only on the weekend was the coffee made correctly (darker brown). Half-n-half was non-existent during the week, only put out on the weekend. Workout room was clean but only one towel all week, again weekend was fully stocked. Pool was out of order. As a World of Hyatt member I know the potential of this brand, this property needs improvement.

Clean and spacious room, professional and courteous staff, free spacious parking and complimentary breakfast. Had a great stay here with family also staying in several rooms as we were here from Los Angeles for a family wedding.

We liked the layout of the room, and it was very clean. The AC unit was quiet. The only thing that we didn't like was the EV charger. It charged us the rate that was more than double of the super charger.

The young lady that checked me in was very nice and informative about the surrounding area.

The room was spotless and the facility was very clean. However there appears to be some water damage in areas that need to be repaired. Additionally I think guests should be notified that the rooms are cleaned every other day, but if they want the room freshened up they can call the front desk. Overall everyone was very kind and the facility is nice.

Flexible in room selection based on family needs, room and bathroom was clean. Heard they had breakfast no time to eat but it smelled amazing!

I was especially impressed with how attentive the cleaning crew was and how convenient the on site laundry area felt. Small touches like that make travel so much easier. I highly recommend this hotel. It delivers far more than you expect and leaves you feeling well taken care of.

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Hyatt. The room wasn’t clean, the service was slow, and the staff didn’t seem welcoming at all. Even simple requests took too long to handle. The breakfast was especially disappointing — the food didn’t taste fresh, the menu was limited, and the area had an unpleasant smell. The room was also quite small, and the phone didn’t work. We were out for over four hours the next day, and when we returned, the room still hadn’t been cleaned. When we went downstairs to ask for housekeeping, the staff made faces and were very unhelpful. Overall, it was a horrible experience and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.

Have stayed multiple times at this property. Rooms are clean and functional, easy access to town of Allen, front desk staff awesome. It’s my first choice when traveling on business to this location.
